Patricia Yonka

Patricia [Patti] Yonka has a Bachelor of Science from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI and an American Montessori Society [AMS] EL I-II credential from COMET, Columbus, OH. She has worked as an elementary classroom teacher and a peace through music educator in environments from infants to adolescents. She currently works nationally and internationally using music to facilitate learning for teachers and students in Montessori’s Education for Peace. She shares her work with adult learners for the Houston Montessori Center and Buffalo Montessori Teacher Education Program. Her mission is to bring Montessori’s vision of peace to the greater educational community.
